Emil Borgini » Staff Directory

As a devoted teacher, coach, and administrator, Emil dedicated his life to his school and community.  An “old school” educator who loved kids, he was actively involved in Benld and Gillespie schools for almost 30 years.  He was also active in both church and community affairs.  He was also active in both church and community affairs.  He was a board member for both the Staunton Hospital and the Macoupin County Housing Authority.  Emil also played professional baseball in the Chicago Clubs organization and was a Korean war veteran.  But most importantly, he left a motto for educations:  “Students always come first.”
