John G. Wargo Ed.D » Staff Directory

A respected educator and community leader, John’s career was one of distinguished service.  A teacher, principal, superintendent and professor, he left a lifelong positive impact on education in Illinois.  As Executive Director of the Illinois Association of School Administrators, he was instrumental in the passage of education bills into law.  In addition, John served on a variety of Illinois State Board of Education and American Association of School Administrators committees. A committed community volunteer, he is active in Rotary International, Boy Scouts of America, Jaycees, and the March of Dimes.  John represented the United States a the “1990 World Seminar on Schooling” in Lisbon, Portugal.
